Pork & boiled egg

Okinawan cuisine at 一会 (Ichikai ?) in Kabukichō, Shinjuku.

According to the restaurant page it’s 2 minutes from Shinjuku station’s east exit, but it took us the best part of an hour to find it, even with GPS navigation.

There was also a museum with live exhibits of the different species of snake that are native to Japan.

We couldn’t go in the tower because of building work, but we walked around the park and looked at all the memorial stones.
